2020 is a blessing!

One of the best moments in 2020 when I personally started to feel humility and empathy where working professionals #WorkFromHome apologize for the so-called noises and disruptions from crying and needy kids at home during Skype meetings.
The attendees were very much welcoming to the kids and started to ask about the names, the age and the health of those kids! Many team members were asking to get the kids on the camera to say hello to ease the pressure on parents. Leaders were execusing their team members to handle the kids and come back after two or three minutes!
Employees became more loyal to their business and to the vision of their leaders because employees felt the understanding, the empathy and the cooperation to balance family commitments along with work requirements in these tough times.
2020 is a “blessing” to the working environment and has changed the employee/leadership chemistry and mechanics forever adding a mental and emotional power to the relationship.

We have mitigated together the big challenge of the Pandemic this year. With all the good intentions and faith we have made together what is best for all stakeholders. Together we might have taken many good decisions and maybe we were mistaken in some other decisions, based on whatever information in hand that we had together at that time.

I personally appreciate how your fleet teams have mitigated the challenges on the floor in the market and trying to get the best out of the market. Safety was a key issue in your day-to-day operations that added a burden on fleet operations in addition to many SME’s that went out of business -unfortunately.

Welcome to the new reality! We together have learnt to work ‘the new way’ relying on technology and new tools that got available during Pandemic. Not only that but we have went together into new business models of leasing and experienced together the boom in commercial intended for delivery and last-mile delivery.

2021 will start within few days where PSA GCC fleet will experience new models for GCC market that contributes to customer affinity to trying electric/hybrid cars starting with 3008 Plug-in-Hybrid, followed by extreme GCC heat/humidity testing for electric commercial vehicles within MAY – JUL timeframe targeting to sell it in GCC by Q4 2021. Not only that but we are arranging with couple of suppliers of electric chargers to create GCC-specific financial and technical case studies for “fleet charging farms” that accommodates up to 200 units charging same time in the same customer locale, fleet is changing – right?
